Overview

Nestled within Kompleks Perniagaan Keramat Mall, One Chopati is a standout North Indian eatery that offers a hearty and authentic taste of classic chapati and puri dishes. This humble stall at the Keramat Mall Food Court excels in delivering comfort food that is deeply rooted in traditional flavors and textures, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

Their signature offerings, such as the T-Poo Keema Daging and Roti Puri Kuah Keema Daging, showcase a masterful balance of spices and freshness. The chapati arrives to the table soft, warm, and with a subtle wholewheat aroma, contrasting beautifully against the puffed, crispy exterior of their puri. The keema, rich with layers of cumin, coriander, and a hint of chili, brings depth and vibrant warmth without overpowering the palate. Such thoughtful seasoning turns each bite into a satisfying experience that is both nostalgic and richly flavorful.

Beyond keema, One Chopati’s menu embraces variety with dishes like Chapati Kuah Sardin, Kuah Kambing, and even the intriguingly named Roti UFO Ayam, catering to diverse tastes while maintaining authenticity. The seamless fusion between the bread and gravy highlights a culinary tradition that respects simplicity but demands attention to detail.

The food court atmosphere is casual and unpretentious. While the space might show signs of age, it benefits from good ventilation and a lively, authentic vibe that reflects the local heritage of Kampung Datuk Keramat. It serves as an accessible spot, ideal for those seeking an affordable and genuine North Indian meal in a community-centered setting. The staff, known for their quick and friendly service, add to the approachable charm of this eatery.

One Chopati’s appeal lies not only in its flavorful dishes but also in its ability to cater to a broad audience—from the busy commuter needing a fulfilling solo meal to families enjoying shared plates of mutton curry, keema, and sardin. It invites patrons to slow down and enjoy a simple yet memorable meal, deeply connected to the rich culinary traditions of North India.

In sum, One Chopati at Keramat Mall Food Court stands as a hidden gem for lovers of classic chapati and puri dishes paired with aromatic, well-crafted gravies. Its blend of authentic taste, generous portions, and an inviting atmosphere make it a must-visit for anyone exploring Kuala Lumpur’s diverse food landscape.

Went to 1 Chapati Keramat for lunch. I took the LRT from KLCC to Damai Station and walked to UTC Keramat Food Court, located on the ground floor. I ordered the T-Poo Chicken Set — which includes one chapati, one puri, and keema chicken — for RM10.92 including 6% SST. The portion is big, and the food quality is excellent for the price. The chapati is soft, warm, and slightly chewy with a nice wholewheat aroma. The puri is large and perfectly puffed, crispy on the outside yet light and airy inside, carrying a mild buttery scent. The keema chicken is rich in flavor, with layers of spices — cumin, coriander, and a hint of chili — that make it deeply satisfying without being too spicy. The gravy is thick and fragrant, perfect for dipping the chapati and puri. The food court environment is old but well-ventilated, with a simple and authentic local charm. Lighting is a bit dim, but the place feels lively and welcoming. Service is quick, and the staff are friendly. They have another branch in Setiawangsa. A hidden gem for tasty and affordable Indian food in Keramat — definitely worth a visit!

T-Poo roti is a combination of 1 piece of capati and 1 piece of poori that can be have with either keema ayam, keema daging, kambing, sardines or aloo gobi. Go for T-Poo Special and you can have heartily breakfast with three dishes ie keema ayam, keema daging and sardines. My favorite is kambing and keema daging. Marvellous!!!

Fast service, delicious chopati/poori and beef keema. Keema a bit gravier than usual but suit those who likes a bit more gravy. Plenty of parking, but limited tables.

I tried their roti UFO. It's basically the old school triangle bread but a circle shape. I got the chicken flavor. And it's like a mix of murtabak+ triangle bread. 1 roti ayam UFO + teh ice =rm9 The chapati is nice, the sauce is with minced meat. The egg and toast is yummy! Comes with minced meat as well. Overall it's okay. Taste nice. Environment not so clean. Tables not wiped. Stray cats around. Very warm during the afternoon.
